I just don't get why the V drops about 3/4 into the video.

I was screwing around with the levels adjustment layer on my latest comic when I accidentally came out this this aged comic-book effect. Thought i'd share. You can see on the penciling which in some parts looks like a bad print job and 3-D printing all in one!
